Due to my work, I used to travel an average 150-200kms, 4-5 days in a week to various industrial zones where at times, the best meal one could get was a vadapav.                         

With this kind of hectic schedule and erratic eating habits, my health was in the dumps. Energy levels were poor, and it affected both my personal life and professional life. But, since I got introduced to Pramilla and started implementing good eating habits, a regular exercise routine and right nutrition with lots of protein and a balanced supplementation program, my health has improved dramatically. I have lost over 20 kg and feel more energetic today, and actually do look and really feel younger, than I did 15 years back.

I lost all my weight by just following the principles of Pramilla’s program and the interesting thing is that after I lost my weight, it has stayed off! I now do weight training in the gym for 45minutes and then, often play badminton for atleast an hour, 4-5days a week.

I am a firm believer in that weight management, at least initially, is 70-80% proper food habits (especially managing the evening meal)… And increasing protein from plant source.. That is crucial, especially for us, who are fully vegetarians.

Pramilla advised me to first lose weight and get my health back on track through food and plant based vitamin supplements. And after that, I gradually introduced exercise.

My work day starts at 9 am and ends around 9 pm. The phone just never stops ringing. Site visits can go on for hours which in turn resulted in long duration of no water, no food.

During some routine tests I heard loud bells saying my heart could no longer bear my weight. I was scared and decided to do whatever it takes. A few months into this journey I met Pramila. Someone older to me who looked far younger. She advised me on my diet regime. Her guidance led me to come down to 75kg body weight and I have stayed there ever since.

 

What did I change in my routine? My work stayed the same. One critical change I made was to stop eating carbs post 6 pm, which for me has become no dinner. And, Pramilla gave me the proper principles rather than telling me what to eat.

Because of my healthful eating habits, my entire family eats right. As women, the family’s health is in our hands and we need to put in the time to understand what we may unknowingly doing wrong.

Our life has completely changed as a result of this. The highlight was when we completed a 10-km event which Pramilla was involved in promoting -something we could not have dreamt about a year back!

 

Pramilla has made me aware of the importance of colour on my plate. I relish the amazing course of several veggies in each meal. Something that just was not happening before.

Also, the fact that ‘the way we cook’ is as important as ‘what we cook.’ Pramilla’s simple tips of steaming the veggies for dinner has become a staple item in our house. And, most importantly, the tip of using quality stainless steel cookware instead of our regular aluminum pans, has become life changing, now since I was made aware of the health risks. Very simple to do and has immense health benefits.

The power of pramilla’s guidance has been in providing simple principles rather than telling me exactly what I should eat. Once I understood the principles: more plant based protein, more fiber, the right vitamin supplements etc, I found it very simple to make changes!

I am 28 years old and work 12-14 hours a day due to which I couldn’t follow proper diet and exercise regime.

As a result of this, I became obese and had poor immunity and was feeling extremely low on energy. That too at an early age of 28! I knew my lifestyle was rapidly leading me towards becoming a victim of lifestyle diseases that we all dread.

All our life, we thought we were eating a healthy vegetarian diet, but our family was not in good health. My wife struggled with overweight, so did I and our children. We often fell sick.
